Refund and Cancellation Policy
At One-ITR, operated by OneDash Fintech Private Limited, we are committed to delivering high-quality tax filing and consultancy services. As our services involve personalized professional consultation, document review, and manual processing by qualified experts, refunds are governed by the following Refund and Cancellation Policy.
1. Eligibility for Full Refund
You may be eligible for a full refund of the service fee under the following circumstances:
• Cancellation before processing: You request cancellation before our tax professionals have commenced work on your order, reviewed your documents, or started preparing your tax computation.
• Service unavailability: We are unable to provide the requested service due to operational limitations, legal restrictions, or unforeseen technical issues on our end.
2. Eligibility for Partial Refund
A partial refund may be approved after deducting reasonable charges towards consultation, document verification, administrative work, and professional time already invested.
If our tax experts have reviewed your documents, prepared your tax computation, or generated a draft Income Tax Return but you decide not to proceed with the filing, up to 50% of the service fee may be retained to cover the work already performed.
3. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be available under the following circumstances:
• Once you have approved the final tax computation and your Income Tax Return has been successfully filed with the Income Tax Department.
• Where the service cannot be completed because you fail to provide the required documents or information, including PAN, Aadhaar, Form 16, bank statements, investment proofs, or any other mandatory documents, within a reasonable period (generally 30 days from the date of purchase).
• Where any error, notice, delay, or adverse consequence arises due to inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or false information or documents supplied by you.
4. Refund Processing
Once a refund request has been reviewed and approved, the refund will be processed through the same payment method used for the original transaction wherever possible. Depending on your bank, payment gateway, or financial institution, the refunded amount is generally credited within 5 to 7 business days, although actual timelines may vary.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request cancellation of a service or initiate a refund request, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible with your Order ID, registered email address, and the reason for the request.
